What does "live weight" mean?
It's the weight of the animal as it stands, before any preparation. We weigh it on our scale — before it is listed if you're ordering online, or right in front of you for a walk-in — and the price is worked out from that weight. Prices are to be determined (TBD).
Can I reserve an animal ahead of time?
Call or message us with your timing and what you need, and we'll tell you what we can hold and for how long. This is especially helpful during holidays and other busy periods.
Do you sell by the cut or by the pound of meat?
We don't sell live animals. Goats and lambs are priced by live weight (weighed before processing) and processed to your instructions. Chickens and ducks are sold by the bird, cleaned and processed — whole or cut.
How many chickens can I buy at once?
That depends on current availability. Tell us how many you'd like and we'll confirm whether it's possible this week or suggest a better day.
